Have you always wanted to draw, had a child that wanted to draw, but just couldn't seem to get started? Maybe you have many of the popular drawing books and try to follow along but have a hard time following along with the instructions, me too?
As someone who considers himself self taught I learned to draw by just looking and trying it out. That worked well until I began drawing my own comics and had a hard time moving things around that I didn't have a picture for and that is where it would all fall apart. I had to retrain myself and in doing so created a system that I not only use everyday, but now to teach to hundreds of students in my classes.
Why does this series of DVD's work? that's because it has all of the components of how people learn, they have the piece of the puzzle that the books don't have, 3 easy steps! Not just the 3 steps I teach in my classes but the way people learn. People learn roughly 70% by seeing something, 20% by listening, and 10% by doing a task. My video series has all three componenents. Most books have only one or two, some live classes have all three and all of those are missing the fourth piece of the puzzle, repetition. I know from experience that most poeople read an art book and then try using the last picture on the page to copy for their drawing. Classes work, but try paying the teacher enough to come home with you. Videos are the answer because they have all three learning essentials, and can be replayed and reviewed as much as the person chooses.
